Divesh Gupta has been with the Exelon family of companies for over 17 years. He currently serves as Director of Clean Energy Solutions for BGE, where his team develops and implements programs and strategies to support energy efficiency, dynamic load management, electric vehicles, and other decarbonization tech and solutions.
Prior to his time at BGE, Divesh led Constellation’s Energy Solutions Team, pairing efficiency and clean energy tech with creative on-bill funding through competitive supply agreements. He has also worked as Chief of Staff for the President of Constellation Retail, helping to drive growth and strategy. Before joining the retail business, Divesh was an attorney for Exelon Corp., providing counsel and representation on regulatory activities involving its competitive generation, wholesale, and retail businesses.
In addition to his service to the BSU Foundation, Divesh serves on the Board for Baltimore’s historic St. Frances Academy, the nation’s oldest operating African-American Catholic High School, established in 1828. He is also the past President and a current Board member of the Maryland-District of Columbia Utilities Association. Divesh earned his B.A. in Policy and Sociology from Rice University in Houston, Texas, and his J.D. from Duke University School of Law in Durham, North Carolina.
