Wade A. Woolfolk

Mr. Woolfolk is a member of the board of directors for the Bowie State University Foundation. He has over 25 years of professional experience in the public, private, and nonprofit sectors, where he served as a communications director for the National Latino Council on Alcohol and Tobacco Prevention. Additionally, he served as a federal contractor for 10 years having worked as an analyst on important issues around Medicare, diplomatic security, and food safety. As a certified change practitioner, he currently serves as a senior change management advisor for the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

Mr. Woolfolk is also the founder of Woolfolk Enterprises LLC where he helps to increase the overall market presence and organizational effectiveness of small businesses and nonprofits through branding, strategy and training. He is also an author and serves as a deacon for a local church.

Mr. Woolfolk believes in serving to help uplift the community through various causes. He is a former county commissioner for the Human Rights Commission in Prince George’s County, MD. Mr. Woolfolk also served as a board member for issues on homelessness (United Communities Against Poverty, Inc.) and education (Ethics Panel for Prince George’s Board of Education). He also served as ambassador for Prince George’s County for the American Cancer Society’s Real Men Wear Pink campaign, to raise monies to support breast cancer awareness, research, and programs.

Mr. Woolfolk is a lifetime Prince Georgian and a product of Prince George’s County Public Schools (PGCPS). He completed his undergraduate and graduate studies at Bowie State University with focuses on business and organizational communications, respectively. Mr. Woolfolk is a Life Member of the Bowie State University National Alumni Association and a proud Life Member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. He resides in Prince George’s County, MD with his wife who is also a two-time graduate of Bowie State University and an administrator for PGCPS.
