Shawn M. Estelle proudly holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with a minor in Business Management and a Master’s degree in Management Information Systems from Bowie State University. Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, he is the first of five siblings to graduate from college—a milestone that shaped his commitment to leadership, service, and education.
Shawn built a successful 25-year career in Information Technology, where he specialized in project management supporting mission-critical federal government agencies, including the Department of Defense (Pentagon) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). During his tenure, he held a Top-Secret security clearance and earned multiple professional certifications, including Project Management Professional (PMP), Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL), and Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE).
In 2014, Shawn transitioned from the IT industry to entrepreneurship, founding Premier Investment Properties, LLC., a real estate company that owns and manages a growing portfolio of residential and investment properties throughout Baltimore, Prince George’s County, and Washington, D.C.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Shawn is deeply committed to leadership and community service. He currently serves as a Basileus of the Phi Nu Nu Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., and as the graduate advisor for the Epsilon Sigma Chapter at Bowie State University. His work has been recognized by the Prince George’s County Council, which recently honored him for his groundbreaking leadership, lasting community impact, and unwavering dedication to uplifting residents through intentional collaboration.
He credits education as the foundation of his success, often sharing his personal motto:
